Meet the Team - H2M Engineering

Andy Forryan

Managing Director

Andy has worked in engineering since he left school and has owned several engineering companies over the years settling on h2m as a father and son duo to see out his working years.
Andy prides himself on being a hands on boss and you’ll regularly find him with his head in a machine, unloading swarf with the forklift and on the odd occasion you might even find him sat behind his desk checking his e-mails.

There’s generally 3 places you’ll find Andy… H2M, the golf course or living his best life on the beach in Spain.

Martin Forryan

Production and Engineering Director

Martin knew from a very a young age that he wanted to follow his father’s footsteps and enter the world of Engineering, so it was no surprise to everyone when he chose his vocation and started his apprenticeship. Martin has been with h2m since the beginning and has found his niche in difficult 5 Axis Milling components.

Martin has a passion for all outdoor pursuits which he enjoys sharing with his 2 boys and is mad about all things motor sport.

Amy Davies

General Manager

Amy joined h2m in 2015 and has slowly climbed the ranks. After a brief “sabbatical” in 2018 she returned to h2m where we have utilised her assets ever since. Amy is the go to person of the company, our problem solver and agony aunt for staff and customers alike. Nothing is ever too much, and she will always greet you with a smile.

Amy has a love for Red Wine, Guinness, Classical Music, History and the colour pink! She has 2 teenage daughters Millie and Gracie and a dog called Colin.

Cherie Edwards

Accounts Manager

Cherie joined h2m in 2017 in a part time/temporary position to assist our accountant. Little did she realise that she would soon be running the show and be our absolute star at managing and controlling the h2m purse strings.
Cherie is quick working and efficient at resolving any accounting issues and has been a god send since she joined the h2m team.

Cherie loves to travel and enjoys eating new cuisines from the different cultures and especially loves to sample new cocktails she discovers on her travels.

Garry Calcott

Commercial Manager

Garry joined h2m in 2016 after being poached from another engineering company. He is our resident grumpy bum but if you scratch away at the surface, you will find he’s actually helpful and rather funny. Garry’s area of expertise is material, what this bloke does not know about the materials we machine…. well…it isn’t worth knowing. Garry is a great asset to the company, and we are forever grateful that he is refusing to retire anytime soon.

Garry’s interests include FOOTBALL, RUGBY, POOL, BUTLINS & BENIDORM …… not necessarily in that order!

Tom Falconer

Quality Engineer

Tom was one of the very first members of staff to jump on board when h2m was created. Having worked with Andy for several years Tom was delighted to have the opportunity again. Tom is a highly skilled, hands on Quality Manager and is probably our nicest member of staff and is always there to lend a hand. After a lifetime of dedicating his skills to engineering Tom is slowly trying to hang is overcoat up and make way for the newest generation of staff at h2m….don’t panic he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

As the only semi-retired member of the team you’ll regularly find Tom on long weekends away with his wife, enjoying visits to the pub or golfing much to the envy of most of h2m.

Daniel Stawiarz

Quality Manager

Daniel joined h2m in 2022 to head up our Inspection team as Tom slowly tries to retire. Daniel has been a great addition to h2m with his ability to work calmly under pressure and manage and support his team during busy periods. Daniel is an expert in operating our CMMs and we're lucky to have him here.

When Dan isn't living his best life at h2m you'll find him enjoying time with his wife and two young daughters. Dan is a keen biker and loves to ride his motorbike.

Lawrence Geddes

CAD / Programming

Lawrence came to h2m in 2015 for “a bit of CAD experience” after finishing university. He’s still with us now and has proven to be one of the greatest impromptu employments h2m may have ever taken on. He was clearly always destined to work in this sector and has gone from strength to strength. Lawrence is probably our quietest member of staff but after 8 years we are slowly bringing him out of his shell.

Lawrence has recently bought his first house with his girlfriend and so enjoys spending all his time and money renovating the property.

Kelly Carr

Production and logistics Co-Ordinator

Kelly joined h2m in 2019 having previously worked with Andy. Kelly has spent all her career working within engineering and specialising in Aerospace which makes her a dab hand here at h2m. There is nothing you will not find Kelly willing to tackle, from driving a forklift to wrapping/packing and the necessary admin work. Kelly is kind and lovely and will always go above beyond if you ask her for a favour.

Kelly loves spending time with her partner and children and you can regularly find her in the hot tub or off camping.

Ashleigh Yeatman

Administration / Stores Operative

Ashleigh started with us in 2019 after leaving school and began assisting our Quality department with stock items and general admin. Her role has very quickly grown with us due to her initiative, her ability to think outside the box and the speed and accuracy with which she works.

Ashleigh enjoys spending her time away from h2m with friends sipping cocktails and shopping.
